Velvety Hard Sauce
|¾ cup||Icing sugar|
|Choose one flavoring: 2 tbsp Brandy or 1 tsp vanilla or 1 tsp rum|
|2 tsp||Grated lemon rind|
|Grated nutmeg for garnish|
- Cream butter and add sugar gradually, beating until the mixture is light and fluffy.
- Add your flavoring of choice.
- Beat again
- Spoon into serving dish , grate nutmeg over top and chill
|1 tbsp||Lemon juice|
|¼ tsp||Grated lemon rind|
- Have butter at room temperature
- In a small bowl, combine all ingredients and stir until well blended
