Two Options For Your Plum Pudding!

Here a two sauces that will highlight your plum pudding and will delight everyone at your table this Holiday season!

Velvety Hard Sauce

¾ cup Butter
¾ cup Icing sugar
Choose one flavoring: 2 tbsp Brandy or 1 tsp vanilla or 1 tsp rum
2 tsp Grated lemon rind
Grated nutmeg for garnish

Method:

  1. Cream butter and add sugar gradually, beating until the mixture is light and fluffy.
  2. Add your flavoring of choice.
  3. Beat again
  4. Spoon into serving dish , grate nutmeg over top and chill

Serves 10-12

Lemon-Butter Sauce:

¼ cup Butter
1 tbsp Lemon juice
¼ tsp Grated lemon rind

Method:

  1. Have butter at room temperature
  2. In a small bowl, combine all ingredients and stir until well blended
  3. Serve.
